Good Deeds

FREE FOOD!

We were fortunate enough to meet a very generous person, who is now our  good friend Sharon. Sharon who is a truck driver (cool huh?!) was able to save a good size shipment from being thrown away because bags were ripped and cans dented.

In 95 degree heat, we unloaded the truck into 3 SUV's. By the time we were finished, the inside of this truck was well over 100 degrees but it was well worth the price of sweating and getting dirty!!

Free cat and dog food!! I couldn't wait to contact people who have been rescuing dogs and cats, foster caring cats, kittens and dogs and feeding feral cats with money out of they're own pockets for years! I was so excited to help and Sharon was thrilled that she had the opportunity to give this gift to everyone who gave effortlessly to all the needy animals!

We had a food drop off that weekend in a nearby, local place and everyone took advantage of the opportunity! We couldn't have been happier, as we saw people loading they're cars and trucks up with food for all the animals in need.

This is our friend Ethan Shorey. Ethan works for the North Breeze Publications as a writer and photographer and has done many good deeds for us at North Providence Animal Shelter and PETS of NEW ENGLAND. Ethan adds a picture and story each week for PET OF THE WEEK to his paper and this helps us find wonderful homes for the animals who deserve a second chance at the shelter.

Every animal that has been featured in the North Breeze has found a home almost immediately after being featured in the paper. WONDERFUL WORK ETHAN!! Ethan has also visited us at the shelter and for PETS of NEW ENGLAND to do articles of interests for the community. We appreciate and thank Ethan for all he has done for all the animals of our shelter and for PETS of NEW ENGLAND!
Big thanks!
Larna

This is Georgette, Jo as we affectionately call her. She owns and manages Hoffman Animal Hospital. That's Mike in the back round busy at work, as always! And with Jo is Cookie, a beautiful and lucky gal that was saved by the staff at Hoffman.

Jo's husband Norman and Lori Houston are the veterinarian's at this awesome hospital. Without them and they're staff, PETS of NEW ENGLAND would not be able to do what we do for all the animals and people who own them, and the animals who don't have homes. Hoffman has treated and spayed/neutered hundred's of animals for us. Jo is there to answer any questions I have ever had, always with a smile.

From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you to all of the staff and Dr's at Hoffman. I have been blessed to have found wonderful people to help me do the work I live for. Gratefully, I have found good friends who love animals as much as I do.

Thank You All !!!
Love, Larna
